| Understanding and Customizing the Dynamic HTML Standard Edition Template |
The Dynamic HTML Standard Edition template uses a cascading style sheet (CSS) to create more complex HTML than the Portable HTML Standard Edition template. The CSS file lets you include specific formatting instructions, and you're not limited to the small style editing field in the Style Designer. This is much more efficient than repeating the formatting in every Publisher style.
The output produced by this template has been tested in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 and higher and in Netscape Navigator version 4.0 and higher browsers. It works in both, but the formatting is more reliable in Internet Explorer. Other browsers that support the HTML 4.0 standard may also work with this output; however, we have not tested them.
