Understanding and Customizing the Dynamic HTML Standard Edition Template
|

Adding new styles
Your paragraph and character styles both reference the CSS file and may use the macro code, so adding new styles to the Dynamic HTML Standard Edition template requires two procedures:
- Adding the style to the Publisher project
- Adding the corresponding class definition to the CSS file
Here's how to do it. First, add the style:
- Select Style » Designer to display the Style Designer.
- Click the Paragraphs or Character tab (depending on the style you want to add).
- Duplicate a style that is similar to what you need.
- Rename the style.
- Modify the style definition as necessary.
WARNING: |
Do not remove the building blocks BPBlockAttributes (in paragraphs) or BPInlineAttributes (in characters). |
- Click OK to save your changes.
- If necessary, map a FrameMaker tag to use this style.
Now, you can modify the CSS file to include a definition for this style:
- Double-click the standard.css file in your support directory to display it in a text editor.
Note: |
If you are using a custom CSS file, modify it instead. |
- Add a definition that uses the same name as the style you just created in WebWorks Publisher Standard Edition.
- Save the CSS file.
- Regenerate your project to see your changes.
