Each WebWorks Publisher Standard Edition project creates a directory structure. It's helpful to understand where these files are located and what each directory contains.
When you create a new project, you specify a directory for it and a project name. The project name becomes the name of a directory within the directory you specified. Underneath the project directory, you will find the following items:
The project file, by default, has a .wdt extension. You can double-click it to launch the project. The project file contains all of the style definitions and the mappings. It also stores the list of FrameMaker files, the referenced support files, and so on. Publisher creates a backup file of your project file.
The output directory is where your output content is generated. Because all generated content goes into this subdirectory, you can deliver the contents of this directory as your final deliverable. (There are no files outside this directory required as part of the final output.)
The support directory stores files used in conversion, such as the page definition files (Normal.asp, for example).
WebWorks Publisher Standard Edition stores the temporary MIF files that it generates from the FrameMaker files in this directory. When the project is done, you can delete the MIF files in this directory if you need to free up space on your system.
