Viewing files

Once you have generated a project, you can open any of the source or generated files from the tree view of the main Publisher Project window.

Here's how to view a project file:

1. Click the File tab of the main Publisher Project window and find the file you want to view. (If the file is a generated file and is not visible in the tree view, click the + icon beside its source file.)
2. Double-click the file name or icon of the file you want to open or right-click the file name or icon and click Properties from the pop-up menu.
3. Publisher opens the appropriate application based on the file's type. (Table 17 lists the Publisher file icons and their corresponding file types.)

   Note:

   If you double-click a file and the Properties or Advanced Page Properties dialog box is displayed instead of the file itself, select File » Preferences and click the View selected item on double click radio button.
